The brown vase is $500* and measures 6 1/2" tall and 4 3/4" wide. The technique used to create this piece is complex and the result is a vase with a great deal of "relief".

Ouzel glassworks is the studio of glass artist Laura Aspenwall. Her studio is located outside the town of Winthrop, Washington just east of the North Cascades National Park.

Note: The Ouzel, also known as the Western Dipper, is the Methow Valley's only winter songbird!
